We are currently seeking a Consultant (5 PAs/ job) to join our multi-disciplinary team. We work with children and young people aged 0-19 with a range of difficulties including developmental delay, developmental disorders and complex neuro-disability.

Feedback from last RCPCH review (June 2017) included ‘met enthusiastic, happy and dedicated teams’ ‘Saw evidence of innovative working and service improvement’ and ‘evidence of good use of multidisciplinary teams, and effective skill mix including specialist nursing roles, and trainees. We heard glowing praise for the support provided by the administration teams.’

You will share responsibility with other Consultants in Thanet for supervising the Speciality doctor. You will have shared responsibility with Consultant colleagues for Neuro- disability including Autism assessments. We’re on an exciting journey of transformation. With a new Medical School at the centre of our community, a focus on research, clinical leadership and making our trust a rewarding and friendly place to work, there’s never been a better time to join us.

Margate and its surrounding coastal towns and villages provide beautiful beaches, charming places of historic interest and stunning countryside. With excellent schools, a wealth of leisure facilities and easy family days out on your doorstep, alongside beautiful and affordable housing stock, the perfect work-life balance couldn’t be easier to achieve.
