Summary
BUCFP is a charity based in central Brighton.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced childcare worker to join our small team. The post is term-time only for 4 hrs a day.
Your role:
- to support the Playroom Coordinator in implementing OFSTED requirements on a sessional basis
- supervise and monitor the safety of children at all times
- plan and implement age-appropriate activities and create a positive and supportive learning environment
- maintain open and effective communication with staff and parents/carers
Applicants should have:
- a relevant childcare qualification, minimum Level 2
- experience of working with children under 5
- good knowledge of child's development
- a proven work ethic and willigness to work as part of a team
- knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
- strong communication skills both written and verbal.
