Join Dimensions as a support worker enabling the seven people, with learning disabilities, who live at our home to enjoy an independent life.
We are looking for proactive, energetic, engaging and caring people to join a close-knit support team in Hounslow currently supporting 3 ladies and 3 gentlemen with physical and learning disabilities to live their best life
Dimensions support workers do not need prior experience in Health and Social Care roles as full training is given.
We have full and part - time positions available!
You will support 6 fabulous people living together in one home. They are very sociable and friendly and enjoy doing a variety of activities like Cinema, shopping, music therapy, dance, Places of worship, massage, swimming, etc.
The role will involve:
- Personal care
- Supporting with cooking
- Music therapy
- Support with visits with family and friends
- Support with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry
- Supporting with medication
- Swimming
- Going for day trips to explore surrounding areas
Shift Patterns - These can vary to work around the people we support. You will need to be flexible, including working alternate weekends.
Location - Hounslow over ground station is a 10/15-minute walk and West Hounslow tube station, Piccadilly line is a 10-minute walk. The main road has numerous bus routes as it's on the main road to Heathrow Airport. As it is only a 2-3 minute walk to Hounslow High Street there are plenty of cafes, pubs and food outlets nearby.
