Summary
About us: We have a large fleet of Road sweepers and vacuum tankers with our own recycling plant and an in-house workshop.
The Challenge: Having full responsibility for the in-house workshop, mechanics, large vehicle fleet, plant and machinery, to optimise productivity and quality through the best use of workshop planning tools and by working very closely with all members of the maintenance team. Ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, and legal and environmental compliance are delivered at all times.
The Candidate: Previous experience in leading, motivating and developing a fleet maintenance team from a logistics/transport background, ability to multi-task with a level of flexibility to support the needs of all day-to-day operations, excellent communicator, and someone who takes pride in the service condition and standards of the fleet.
Experience in forecasting and managing departmental budgets, associated qualifications in either facilities or fleet management such as IRTEC.
HGV licence C+E desirable
