Summary

Job Title: Disability and Hate Crime Project Researcher

12 months fixed term contract

Hours: 16 per week

Location: Remote or working from a local United Response office

Salary: £15.00 per hour £14,476.80 p/a

Key Purpose of the role:

The lived experience researcher roles will foster inclusivity, understanding, and actionable insights in addressing disability hate crimes in public transport and go some way to ensuring a high response rate to the initial survey based on their work within the communities across England.

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent time management and self-organisation skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to meet short and long-term goals.
  • Ability to understand and process complex information and translate it into a simpler format.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the barriers to justice facing disabled people.
  • Interest in engaging with partners and local community groups to promote collaboration on the project.
