The Role - Day Concierge

To assist in the general running and upkeep of a new private residential development in Barking. Provide a safe, secure and well-maintained environment. Maintain the highest standards, ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered to the Residents/ Company and its client/development. To foster good relations with the residents and ensure that the development is managed to a very high standard. This is a full time, shift patterned role with a 7am-7pm 4 on 4 off pattern.

Duties/Key Responsibilities

• Provide a high 5* standard of customer service to our residents, client, and guests. To be welcoming, friendly, polite and smart at all times.
• Ensure that the building is maintained to the highest standards expected by the Landlord and Managing Agent and that the Building and Estate runs efficiently
• To co-ordinate the day to day running of the building/estate liaising with residents to ensure all relevant information is communicated correctly and efficiently
• Statutory health and safety checks of the building/development
• Checking in and signing out of parcels
• Management of key holding and contractor attendance
• Distributing Post
• General Admin
• Welcoming and greeting all residents/visitors
• Any other tasks as directed by the Estate Management Team

Skills

• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism
• Ability to resolve complaints effectively and within procedures
• Greet residents, guests, and visitors
• Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
• Flexible approach and can-do attitude
• Friendly and helpful, polite, and courteous
• Prior experience of working with the public is essential, ideally in a 5* service related, customer facing capacity
• Must hold a valid SIA
• CCTV Licence (preferred)
• To be able to demonstrate the correct behaviours required as outlined in the Living the Values section of the Pinnacle Way booklet.
