Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Warehouse worker position available for work with a busy manufacturing company in. We require someone with excellent recent stores/warehouse experience. Work will involve goods in / goods out, logging stock on a computer, assisting with stock checks, making sure materials are stored in correct area’s and picking and packing of parts and materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory in designated areas.
• Sort, pack, and prepare products for shipment.
• Pick orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and responsibly.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain stock accuracy.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts as required.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals and deadlines.
EXPERIENCE: -
-Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of stock procedures and inventory control practices.
