The Role:

As an Energy Sales Lead Generator, you’ll be responsible for making outbound calls to new and existing SME customers helping them to secure a better deal on their energy contracts.
• B2B cold calling to build and maintain relationships with potential customers across the UK.
• Identify sales opportunities.
• Present solutions which save our customers time, money and reduce their carbon emissions.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with current and future customers.
• Manage your existing customer accounts and renewals.
• To achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales and revenue targets and KPIs
• To accurately complete all customer details and sales information to the required standard on the organisations CRM system
• Working closely with a Team Manager to maximise all opportunities.
• To gain bills and a letter of authority (LOA) from the customer
• To deal with any objections that are presented.
• Ensure all information gathered for any customer is accurate and compliant.
• Working as part of a team alongside an experienced Closing Specialist who will assist all parties in ensuring the lead is closed.

Skills & Experience

• 3 months+ B2B Energy Sales experience
• Confident in approaching customers on an outbound basis
• Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual,
• Be able to generate business opportunities with confidence.
• Good computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working in target driven environment
• Punctual & presentable
• Excellent time-keeping and organisational skills
• Show initiative and willingness to learn new sales techniques.
• Adaptable to change within the business needs
