THE ROLE

- Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre

- Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction

- You must have previous experience working as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.

- You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques with both heavy and minor crash repair.

- Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer.

- Mending rusted parts of a vehicle's bodywork.

- Replacement of panels.

- Panel Repairs (Straightening and filling)

- Body Alignment

- Welding ARC, MIG, TIG and bonding

- Panel Beating (Major or Minor damage repair)

- Jig Work

- Filler Work

- Pin pulling

- Removing any dents in panels.

- Repairing minor scratches or making replacement panels.


THE PERSON

- You will have prior experience working in an automotive repair environment and will be a highly skilled technician who is consistent in producing high quality results.

- Examine vehicles to identify additional work for repair and complete in a timely manner

- Ability to identify different colour variants and match colours without assistance

- Able to work in a dynamic environment with compliance to Health & Safety at all times

- Valid UK driving license is essential

- Previous experience is essential

- Experience using modern water-based paints

- Ability to work efficiently, with high numbers of vehicles coming into the Bodyshop

- Must have own tools
