Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events. This role requires excellent guest services skills, strong time management abilities, and effective communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Attending our wedding fayres happening throughout the North West in Lancashire and Cheshire
- Greeting guests on arrival, checking in, and managing paperwork.
- Liaising with exhibitors on the day ensuring their needs are met
- Assistance with the set up of the reception area
- As we cover a substantial area, a driving license is essential as you will be making your own way to the venues.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests throughout the event
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events
- Ideal for a professional looking to get into event management.
- Maintain accurate records of event details and expenses
Experience:
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
