Here at Randstad we are working with a national facilities management company to onboard a Case Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems across various sites across the east of Scotland.

This is a full-time, permanent hours and the main working hours will be night shifts, 40 hours per week.

Salary: £25,210.69 per year

Location: Edinburgh, East Scotland

Role Overview:

The primary duty of this role is to perform comprehensive cleaning and basic upkeep of refrigeration units, adhering strictly to the company's policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled cleaning tasks for refrigeration units, preparing them for maintenance by emptying and cleaning, including filter maintenance.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks on refrigeration units.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to ensure cleaning and maintenance tasks are executed timely and to the required standards.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional demeanour, fostering strong relationships with both colleagues and clients.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in cleaning or basic maintenance, preferably in a retail or industrial setting.
  • A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Approachable, confident, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Good physical condition, as the job involves considerable physical activity.
