Summary

The Role

Here at SecureCloud+ we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our HR team based out of our Reading site.

The HR Assistant will provide crucial administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.

Role Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Act as the primary contact for all HR-related queries from employees, management, and external parties.
Ensure the effective and up-to-date maintenance of HR administrative tasks, including accurate updates to the HR database.
Administer and distribute HR-related documentation such as contracts of employment, maintaining meticulous records.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires by ensuring they receive necessary IT access, induction meetings, and completion of required checklists upon arrival.
Record and monitor attendance to maintain accurate records of annual leave, sickness, and other forms of absence.
Support the performance management process by providing necessary assistance and documentation.
Manage the process of employee departures including exit interviews and necessary documentation.
Assist in conducting employee engagement surveys as needed to gauge organisational sentiment and satisfaction.
Oversee the process of conducting baseline personnel security standard (BPSS) and other security clearance checks and renewals for new and existing staff.
Assist with the DISC profiling system as part of the employee selection process.
Support in the administration of employee pension schemes and benefits packages.
Coordinate with the payroll department to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payments, adhering to all deadlines.
Provide support in generating monthly payroll reports as required.
Generate various HR-related reports on an as-needed basis.
Record and monitor the booking process for skills development courses and follow up on completed courses by collecting feedback.
Act as an ambassador for the Employee Assistance Programme, promoting its benefits and providing necessary support.
Assist in the process of obtaining and maintaining Investors in People accreditation and awards.
Education and Experience Requirements

As the HR Administrator you will have:

Good educational background, A-level or degree level is desirable
Preferably holds or is working towards a CIPD Level 3 qualification, or demonstrates relevant experience at an administrative level within HR.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Demonstrates strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with acute attention to detail.
Exhibits excellent planning and organisation capabilities, along with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Works well within a team environment, fostering collaboration and cooperation.
Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates discretion and reliability in handling sensitive information.
Willingness to adapt to changing organisational needs and work schedules.
Effectively manages workload to meet demanding deadlines, demonstrating strong prioritisation skills.
Flexible and adaptable, capable of multitasking and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Capable of making sound decisions based on logical reasoning and best practices.
Projects a smart, proficient image and maintains a professional and credible demeanor as a representative of HR.


UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required for this position. Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain SC clearance, with a view to obtaining UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance as required.
