Successful eligible applicants will also be entitled to receive an incentive payment of £1000 (after deductions and will be received in the first pay packet after the individual has been working for the PVI for 12 weeks.). This is part of a Knowsley pilot commencing April 2024 and ending December 2024.

Definition of eligible staff
• Applying for their first role in an early years provider to implement the early years foundation stage
• Returning after a break of at least six months
• Applying for a role which involves directly working with children for at least 70% of the time

What a Forest School Practitioner & Outdoor Lead needs:

Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.

A Passion for the Outdoors

Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by OFSTED.

An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families.

Leadership experience desirable.
