Summary
Job title: Personal Assistant
Location: Broadlands, Bridgend
Hours of work: 5 hours (Saturdays)
Rate of pay: £12.75 per hour
Introduction:
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and committed PA to support a young 10 year old boy for a one afternoon every Saturday between 12pm-5pm once a week. Taking out for walks and activities. Must have own transport.
Main Duties:
- Taking a young 10 year old boy out on afternoon activities, such as walks
- Providing companionship
- Support and encourage to do new activities
- Encourage and be friendly
Person Specification:
- Active and energetic.
- Proactive individual with local knowledge.
- Caring, honest, responsible and patient
- Reliable with good time keeping
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A full drivers licence and use of own car is required (You must have business use on your insurance to be able to use the vehicle within work hours).
This post is funded through the Direct Payments scheme.
Benefits
5.6 weeks’ holiday per year (pro rata).
Sick pay at SSP rate.
Training provided if required, where available.
This appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check, which will incur no cost to the applicant.
