Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join to recruit a full time substantive CCU Ward Manager based on the St Helier Site of Epsom & St Helier Hospital
The successful candidate will work closely with the Clinical Matron and will be key in leading the ward team to provide high quality safe, effective and compassionate care for patients. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work closely with a mulit-disciplinary team to develop the service . You will be able to evidence excellence in clinical practice and demonstrate the ability to facilitate and manage the change in the clinical environment. CCU provides holistic care to acutely unwell and those with chronic cardiac conditions who require frequent treatment. The Ward treats a wide range of cardiac conditions
The expectations within this job description will be met through professional leadership, clinical management, hands on clinical practice, education and training, and research.
The post holder will ensure that high quality nursing care is delivered within their designated clinical area.
The post holder will assist in setting the standards of clinical practice, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, and will monitor patient outcomes.
The post holder will have ongoing responsibility for the operational effectiveness of their designated clinical area, being present in their clinical area, in conjunction with the Clinical Matron
