Summary

Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Adults Community Mental Health Team, working as a Duty Practitioner.

Location: Preston

Pay Rate: £26 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract Type: Locum, 3-6 month contract (ongoing)

Shift Pattern: Core hours are 09:00 am - 17:00 pm, Monday - Friday, although flexibility around start & finish times is available for the right applicants. For example, 08:00 am - 18:00 pm (3-4 days), 08:00 am - 16:00 pm, 09:00 am - 18:00 pm etc. Part time considered.

Duties:

• Duty role within the CMHT and coordinating with colleagues who support on the rota
• Recovery focused interventions, short-term pieces of work, and supporting people managing crisis
• Conduct specialist mental health assessments, Risk Assessments, and devise appropriate care plans and risk management plans
• Provide direct assistance, including education and advice, emotional and psychological support to those referred to the team with the aim of promoting re-enablement and recovery

Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurse:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
  • NMC Registration
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Experience of Working in Community Setting
  • Experience of Working in MDT
  • Experience of Working with clients in crisis
