Summary
A Company in West London, near Hanger lane, Park Royal, London NW10 area requires a Care Coordinator, Full Time or Part Time or Freelance , with a minimum of one (1) year experience.
ESSENTIAL:
Experience of Managing or working as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader either at a Residential Care Home or Supported living Home Respite Care settings for adults aged between 18-60; with Learning Difficulties / Autism and Challenging Behaviours or in a similar environment.
You will be expected to converse with outside professionals including social services, brokerage team, Service Users/Clients Referral Centres, local authorities and all other Government Agencies.
1. Work experience in Health & Social Care NVQ level 3 or working towards the qualification
2. Good administrative and understanding of office routine
3. Pro-active and highly motivated
4. Proven ability to maintain records
5. Data entry skills and high degree of accuracy of numbers
6. Hands-on experience with daily office duties
7. High proficiency in English both verbal and written
8. Good computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, Excel and data bases
9. Working to deadline and attention to detail
PREFERRED:
1. Good people and customer care skills
2. Experience of doing Appraisals/Staff supervision
3. Ability to work to deadlines
4. To be flexible, honest, discreet and trustworthy
DUTIES:
1. Liaising with Staff and Clients for Contracts and Services
2. Conducting interviews of potential Staff /Appraisals/ Staff Supervision
3. Resolving queries and addressing issues
4. Replying to emails and contacting existing Clients
5. Resource allocation of Staff to Clients for shifts / services
6. Making phone calls to arrange for training
7. Maintain balanced work load of Care Staff
8. Overseeing Quality Assurance/Client and Staff Feedback
9. Seeking opportunities for Tenders
10. Client visits
11. Other duties as required
