Summary
To undertake specialist occupational therapy and holistic assessment of patients as an autonomous practitioner, interpret results appropriately, use clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of evidence based practice, in relation to the individuals clinical and psycho-social issues to determine treatment options, recommending the best course of action . To undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients receiving intermediate care including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi-pathologies, in order to identify their problems and needs and implement agreed treatment plans that respect peoples privacy, dignity and individuality. To undertake treatment planning and implementation of agreed goal orientated intervention with client/carers.
