Summary
Key Responsibilities: To be responsible for the day to day management of the Grounds and Gardens Maintenance Service planned maintenance service for defined Trust sites ensuring pre-agreed performance criteria are met. To provide an effective interface between the Senior Estates Manager and the outsourced Grounds & Gardens Maintenance and to be responsible for ensuring the Contractor performs to the required standards through effective Contract Monitoring. Working with Senior Facilities Manager, to co-ordinate activity, reduce cost and improve efficiency wherever possible. Working with the Senior Facilities Manager to establish best practice and efficient working procedures. To monitor the performance of the outsourced Grounds and Gardens Maintenance Service. To participate in the planning of landscape/horticultural scheme to include elements of planting, maintenance, and life cycle. To work as an integral member of a small team delivery efficient and effective Grounds and Gardens (including landscape and horticultural) Maintenance Services to various Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust sites. Assist where and when required with General Maintenance tasks across SSLs multi site portfolio.
