We are looking for experienced Nurse Practitioners /Emergency Care Practitioners to join the team at our busy GP led Urgent Treatment Centre based at Teddington Memorial Hospital. The Unit is open 8am -8pm seven days a week offering both booked appointments and a walk-in facility. the unit staff comprises of GP's , Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Care practitioners, Children Advanced Nurse Practitioners HCA and Administrative staff. The unit sees around 50, 000 patients a year and supports the national Urgent Care Agendas. There is access to on-site diagnostics an support from other services within the trust.

The successful candidate will be involved in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients attending with acute episodic minor injuries and illnesses, dealing with both children and adults. Requesting and interpreting diagnostic tests including x-ray and performing extended skills such as suturing and plastering. They will be responsible for the day to day management of the department on a rotational basis and the support of junior members of the team.
