Bank/Occasional hours available (The Bank position provides cover as and when needed, such as for annual or sick leave. The hours and days worked will vary.)
Hourly rates - £12.00 to £13.00 per hour (Basic rate with potential for enhancement).
Additional enhancement of £1.00 per hour for night shifts from 8pm to 7am, Monday-Thursday (excluding sleep-ins). Weekend shifts also receive an additional enhancement of £1.00 per hour from 8pm Friday to 7am Monday (excluding sleep-ins).

Care Assistant, Support Worker, or similar experience is desirable but not essential. We offer an excellent training and induction programme for all new team members!
As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire, you will be an integral part of our fantastic team. While every day is different, some of your main responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, medication management, and mealtimes.
• Escorting and providing support for external events and appointments.
• Encouraging independence and helping individuals achieve their personal goals through our Person Centred approach.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Successful candidates will:
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
• Work flexibly and creatively with individuals and their families.
• Have personal care experience (desirable but not essential).
• Be able to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• Be willing to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota when needed.
