Summary

Do you have experience working with children who have SEN or any transferable skills, such as; care/ support worker setting, ambulance, police force, military, residential care, sports coach etc?

One of our schools are looking for a LSA's (Learning Support Assistant) to help support at their SEN provision based in Mildenhall. They are needing extra staff to help support the children either in a 1:1 setting or small groups.

EXPERIENCE WITHIN A SCHOOL IS NOT NECESSARY AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE PASSION AND COMMITMENT TO WORK WITH CHILDREN!

About the role:
- Sociable hours, NO WEEKENDS - 8.30am-3.30pm (these hours may vary by 45 minutes)
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN.
- Assist with classroom activities and help implement Individual Education Plans..
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support student development.
- Be a source of motivation, encouragement, and positivity for your students.
- Full time option - temp to perm style!

The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience working with SEN children or a similar setting
- Hold a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
- Have the passion and drive to work with children - MUST
- Able to use own initiative to get involved - MUST
- Provide reference information for at least the last two years and be able to provide suitable documentation
