- Day Rate- £45-£60
- Days- Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)
- Hours- 8:30am -12:30pm
- Contract- Long term to Perm
- Start- ASAP
LTF Recruitment are looking for a proactive and motivated Teaching Assistant to support a the delivering of learning in a year three/four class. The role is based at an OFSTED rated 'good' primary academy in Redditch. The role is offered on a long term basis with the potential to become permanent for the ideal candidate.
The Role:
- Assisting the teacher in delivering work with the children in a year three class
- Supporting the needs of children with SEN within the class
- Managing behaviour in the classroom.
- Undertaking observations of pupils and contributing to pupil records
- Assiting in interventions to support pupils in development areas
Essential requirements:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience and knowledge of the Key Stage Two curriculum
- Experience carrying out small group interventions
- A relevant Level 3 Teaching assistant qualification or degree
- Experience working with children with SEN
- A positive, can-do approach
