Plasma Operative

Regular Days (8:45am– 5pm)
Pay: £11.44 per hour

Our client who is based in Mansfield is urgently looking to recruit additional Plasma Operatives to join their conscientious team on an ongoing basis due to growth within the business. If you are looking for stability then this position could be for you as permanent opportunities are available (subject to performance).
The role consists of operating the machine to cut specific quantities and components, e.g. flanges and brackets. The machines require cleaning a lot; using a hammer to chip off the metal remaining on the machine. Lifting up to 25 kilos is required.
Responsibilities:
• To set and operate the machines, adjust and maintain as required
• To load raw materials, unload and inspect finished components
• To observe company health and safety policy and rules at all times
• To follow instructions set out by your line manager
• 5 To make components in line with production targets
• To report any defects to your line manager prior to commencing work
• To perform other ad hoc duties as required
• To keep the work place clean and tidy at all times
Skills:
• Excellent time keeping and attendance
• Tidy in nature
• Excellent attendance record
• Good attitude to work
This is a temporary to permanent position.
