Summary

MGF are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Hire Desk Controller to join our busy depot in Exeter. We offer a competitive rate of pay to applicants who display the required skills.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide an efficient and effective service on the Hire Desk to assist the team with their activities.
Your key responsibilities may include:

Dealing with enquiries and converting them into hire business
Responsible for receiving orders (On-hires) and requests for collections (Off-hires)
Calculation and supply of quotes on CRM system
Planning of transport for deliveries and collections
Daily preparation of drivers’ paperwork
Daily communication with sites
Customer’s loss and damage reports
Answering incoming calls

The core requirements for this role are:

Experience in a customer service role, preferable within a hire/sales environment
A professional manner with good communication and people skills
PC literate with experience of Microsoft Systems
Ability to prioritise work load and work to tight deadlines
Local area knowledge for the depot areas served
Motivated self-starter with good administration, time management and organisation skills
