The School of Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education are known internationally for our multi-disciplinary, high-impact research that improves the quality of primary care and public health services and the lives of patients and the wider population. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework we achieved the highest rating in our unit of assessment (UoA2) for outputs, with a Grade Point Average of 3.71 and 94% considered as 'internationally excellent' or 'world leading'.

The role

We are recruiting new academic staff to support the development of research and education in the Faculty of Medicine and contribute to our high-quality research outputs, impact and environment.

Appointees will be expected to contribute to research, education, enterprise, and leadership, but with a focus on leading internationally excellent research in primary care, public health, or population science.

This post is offered as either a clinical or non-clinical basis and either full-time or part-time.

About you

You will need to have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field and a well-established national and international reputation in Primary Care, Public Health, or Population Health Research.
