Summary

Job Title: Level 1 Ultrasound Sonographer
Location: Bermuda
Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, Days/Evenings/Nights. Required to work all shifts, totaling 35 hours per week
Salary: £83,780 - £90,185 per annum

We are looking for dedicated Sonographers to join our Imaging Services Department at an esteemed Acute Care Facility. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms and ultrasound equipment, ensuring adherence to infectious disease protocols and patient safety measures.
• Safeguard patient safety throughout the Sonography examination process.
• Review patient medical history and associated clinical information.
• Ensure completeness and medical necessity of Sonography examination orders.
• Assess contraindications, patient preparation adequacy, and patient tolerance levels for the examination and related procedures.

Qualifications & Registration Requirements:

Level 1 Sonographer: General Sonographer RDMS:

• Preferred minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate experience.
• Newly qualified Bermudians with relevant certification from an accredited institution (0 - 2 years of experience).
• Certification: Registered Diagnostic Sonographer (RDMS) with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Certified in Abdomen, OB/GY, or equivalent (UK).

Level 2 Sonographer: RDMS or RDCS or RVT or RMSKS:

• In addition to Level 1 certification, must be certified in Adult Echo, Vascular, Breast, and Musculoskeletal.
• Preferred minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate experience.
• Newly qualified Bermudians with relevant certification from an accredited institution (0 - 2 years of experience).
