What we are looking for:

- Someone who is committed to caring
- An individual who is passionate about making a difference for others
- A relevant qualification in health and social care
- At least 2 years’ experience in a care assistant role
- The ability to lead, motivate, develop and delegate to others and be part of a supportive team
- A kind, caring and compassionate nature with a sense of fun
- The ability to communicate with a wide range of people, including residents, the home team and family members

Do you have experience of the following?:
- Providing those in your care with the highest possible standards of individualised care and support
- Supervision of a team whilst on shift to oversee and maintain the care of residents
- Ongoing coaching and regular 1-2-1s with team members
- Carrying out inductions for those new to the team, to promote the sharing of knowledge, best practice and skills to ensure they have the best possible start
- Promoting a caring and friendly environment where the philosophy of person-centred care is at the heart of everything you do, including the empowerment of residents to fully participate in all decisions relating to them
- Promoting activities for residents that are fun, inclusive, stimulating and relevant
- Administering prescribed medicines and maintaining associated records
- Ensuring accurate and detailed care plans are kept up to date and are person-centred
- Carrying out basic domestic duties and assisting in the preparation of light meals and refreshments for those in your care
- Planning rotas and attending team meetings
- Being a role model for the home team
