Summary
As Software Test Engineer must have a strong automated and manual testing skills to join the team replacement on the existing projects using cutting edge technology. As Software Test Engineer, you will have demonstrate the evolutionary development of advanced analytics and decision support software across all aspects of the development life cycle, working closely with product development engineers and business domain experts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To engage with projects in early phases in order to influence project initiation and direction, ensuring alignment with the overall delivery plan;
To participate and contribute to analysis in order to understand the story requirements and identify optimum test approach;
To create test Strategies and test plans
To create and execute high-quality test cases;
To ensure that defects/errors are reported, taking the initiative to utilize skills.
teams; building effective relationships with third parties and applying influence; expertise and capability amongst the wider Test team.
Key Skills, Qualifications, and experience required
Experience with Jenkins
Debugging Skills using Linux/Unix
API / Web Services testing using SoapUI and Groovy Scripting
SOA and middleware testing along with Mock's development would also be beneficial – Service Virtualisation, Emulators, Stubs, etc
Comfortable working with a variety of databases with solid SQL experience.
Minimum 6 years of experience in SDLC/STLC
A Degree in Computer Science
