KFM is currently seeking talented individuals to join the team at the Outpatient Pharmacy Service based at Denmark Hill, offering
a range of opportunities for experienced pharmacists and newly qualified professionals.
As part of our personal development pathways, we are currently offering a number of courses to support you in your continued
professional development. This includes sponsorship of Independent Prescribing, Pharmacy Diploma, as well as payment towards your
professional registration, demonstrating our commitment to your growth.
This role supports the Pharmacy Manager and provides day-to-day leadership and management for all Pharmacy Services when acting as
the Responsible Pharmacist.
Key Accountabilities
To ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of all aspects of the outpatient pharmacy services at the outpatient
pharmacy for King’s College Hospital London, in accordance with national and local standards.
* To provide leadership to and act as a role model for the support staff of KCH outpatient pharmacy.
* To fulfill the statutory responsibilities as required by the General Pharmaceutical Council and DoH.
* To contribute to the development of a high-quality and timely outpatient service for patients.
* To develop effective working relationships with prescribers.
* To contribute to the development of appropriate additional clinical or patient-centered services.
* To contribute to the optimization and development of the overall profitability of the business.
* To contribute to the efficient management and administration of the business
* Work collaboratively and supportively with the Superintendent Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager.
* To work collaboratively and cooperatively with the pharmacy manager and other pharmacists to avoid or minimize the use of locum
pharmacists.
* To work closely and collaboratively with specialist clinical pharmacists and service leads to deliver high standards of
medicines management and optimization for the benefit of patients, carers, and medical and nursing staff.
