Summary
Part-time Scheme Manager required in Ormskirk until at least October 2024, 18.5 hours per week, which can be split across 5 days or 3.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the lettings process to ensure appropriate levels to minimise void levels and carry out viewings with prospective new tenants
- Carry out inductions with new residents, ensuring they are able to manage the safety & security of their accommodation.
- Conducting property inspections, managing the overall health & safety of the building and reporting required repair work.
- Daily wellbeing calls and checks for tenants based on assessed risk, and respond to emergency calls via the emergency system.
- Assisting residents with tenancy sustainment, ensuring they understand their rights and responsibilities in relation to their tenancy.
- Complete referrals for aids, adaptations and assistive technology, as well as providing advice & assistance with the completion of welfare benefit applications.
- Provide advice on low level rent arrears, working in liaison with the Income Team.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of working in a social housing or care setting with elderly and vulnerable people.
- Experience of completing assessments and developing support plans for clients, providing budgeting advice & devising budgeting plans and knowledge of welfare benefit system.
- Experience of crisis management, risk minimisation and managing personal resilience.
- Multi-agency working experience.
