Summary

ABOUT THE ROLE OF MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Bramley Health is a specialist health and social care provider, and due to company growth, we are looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team, working between Monday and Friday to undertake maintenance tasks to ensure that our homes in the Croydon area are kept in a safe and operational state of repair.

Key Responsibilities include:

o Driving between sites using own vehicle
o General repairs and maintenance
o Decorating (painting) of vacant rooms
o Carrying out health and safety audits
o Liaise with external contractors for completion of specialist tasks
o Implement temporary fixes to ensure a safe environment prior to specialist involvement

ABOUT YOU, THE SUCCESSFUL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Experience and skillset:

o (Required) Full, clean driving license and own vehicle
o (Required) Own set of tools
o General care taker / maintenance experience
o Plumbing
o Carpentry
o Electrical
o Keen eye for detail
o Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
o Approachable with a positive can do attitude
o Can interact with vulnerable individuals safely and competently
o (Desirable) Care home / School / Hospital background
