Summary
The OCE provides specialised rehabilitation for individuals from 16 years of age following a neurological incident; the majority of our patients have suffered vascular or traumatic brain injuries as a result of head injury, stroke, subarachnoid haemorrhage or other forms of brain injury from infection or cardiorespiratory arrest.
This is a developing service, in a process of change, and we are looking for staff with enthusiasm who wishes to provide high quality care to individuals in this setting.
The OCE Inpatient Ward admits patients for 3-6 months. We are a Level 1 Neuro-rehabilitation centre. During their admission, the multidisciplinary team (MDT) uses a patient centred approach to patient care and supports patients and their families to give them the best opportunity to grow as individuals, regain independence and reintegrate back into society.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their skills, and to make a difference to someone’s life during this difficult adjustment period following a brain injury.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, dynamic and inspirational Advanced Rehab Assistant to join our team.
