We therefore welcome applicants with existing crisis and liaison experience but also those who have experience working with older adults, HTTs, CMHTs or mental health inpatients. This is a challenging but rewarding role, within a busy and evolving multidisciplinary service.

The team provides a 24hr service across seven days of the week, assessing patients that present with mental health problems, including psychiatric crisis. As a Liaison Psychiatry Nurse, you will be expected to assess patients who are referred from the ED and inpatient areas who present with a wide range of psychiatric disorders and often with physical health co-morbidities including delirium.

As well as promoting your own professional development, there will be opportunities for you to participate in the teaching and training of nurses and other health professionals.
