There is a significant need for Primary Supply Teachers in our associated schools in the Lambeth region. Our collaboration with numerous schools allows us to provide you with consistent work opportunities. As a Primary Supply Teacher, you enjoy the flexibility to choose your working days. You have the option to either receive calls in the morning for same-day assignments or to be scheduled in advance. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT).
Our primary education team in London boasts a collective experience of 30 years, with some members having hands-on teaching experience. We comprehend the dynamics of a classroom environment and are committed to supporting you throughout your journey with current training programs and a dedicated consultant. This consultant will be attuned to your requirements, providing weekly check-ins to discuss your experiences.
About your role as a Primary Supply Teacher
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you have will have strengths within early years, KS1 or KS2. You will need to cover classes delivering planned lessons set by the class teacher or sometimes your own lessons for unplanned sick cover. Some of your other duties will include:
* Managing behaviour in the classroom
* Becoming familiar and acting on school policies and procedures
* Marking all the work at the end of each lesson
* Leaving a handover for the class teacher
What you will need to succeed
** You will need to hold QTS
** Experience working within a primary classroom
** Good behaviour management and organisational skills
** You need to be flexible and willing to travel around the Lambeth area
** You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays
