Summary

Your new firm
A well-established firm based in Stockport are seeking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This firm provides a range of accountancy and business advisory services to their expanding client portfolio based mainly in the Greater Manchester area. This firm provides services to a range of clients composed mainly of limited companies with turnovers from £50k - £5 million. This is an excellent opportunity to join an already established firm who are seeking to streamline and grow their business.


Your new role
As Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for completing monthly/quarterly bookkeeping duties, including posting sales and purchase invoices, reconciling banks, posting payroll journal, reconciling balance sheet accounts. You will work closely with an experienced team of staff and will have the opportunity to continue your professional development, learning from experienced professionals. You will use accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and DEXT.


What you\'ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working within a practice environment. You will also need strong IT and technical skills with experience in accounts software including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and DEXT. This candidate will need to be AAT or part ACA/ACCA qualified. You will need to be able work independently and happy clearing up queries and requesting information from clients.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £25,000 and £30,000 dependent on experience. You will be able to work from home on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week at home and 3 days in office.
