Our Emergency Department are currently looking to recruit both Adult and Paediatric Registered Nurse. We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated Registered Nurses to work within our department which has been rated outstanding for ‘well lead’ by the CQC. If you’re passionate about delivering high quality safe healthcare, then we would love to hear from you.

We are proactive in recognising talent amongst our workforce to ensure development into Sister/Charge Nurse Roles, which is supported by our band 6 development programmes. We actively encourage the development of our staff should they wish to progress into Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Nurse Practitioners roles and have proven success in developing home grown talent into chosen career pathways within the Emergency Department. Such talent is recognised via our appraisal process, and we strongly feel appraisals allow individuals to feel valued and appreciated.

We are an innovative and dynamic Emergency Department with excellent performance in all the quality indicators such as the 4-hour performance target and have our achievements and high-quality care have been widely recognised. We consistently rank in the top twenty of the high performing Emergency Departments in the Country with a strong ethos of providing high quality care whilst supporting our ambulances back into the community in a timely manner.
