Job Description: Motor Insurance Claims Coach

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical and tactical advice to support the claims team in handling pre-litigated insurance claims.
Collaborate with the training team to contribute to the development of training programs and materials.
Analyze quality scores and trends to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Review complex cases and escalations, offering guidance and advice as needed.
Resolve all complaints and issues to prevent expressions of dissatisfaction from escalating into formal complaints.
Challenge and question peers/managers when processes and procedures do not meet expectations or prioritize customer interests.
Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure overall success.
Take ownership of your own development by actively seeking opportunities for growth.
Ensure compliance with all procedural and regulatory legislation required by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Stay informed about company communications, processes, and procedures, and take responsibility for your actions.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Actively promote and represent the group positively both internally and externally.
Experience & Knowledge:
Substantial experience in handling first and third-party motor insurance claims.
Strong technical knowledge in insurance.
Previous experience in customer service.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently within established boundaries.
Effective collaboration skills with individuals across various levels and responsibilities.
Proficiency in IT/keyboard skills.
Desirables:
CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualified or working towards qualification.
