Summary
Experienced Support Worker required to work with a young man with an acquired brain injury, living in the Farnborough area.
The successful applicant will be comfortable working 1:1, supporting our client pursue his interests in the community and at home.
A relaxed and calm personality is essential, along with a proactive approach to finding and engaging in activities with the client.
The applicant must also be comfortable around dogs.
Working hours: 24 hours per week.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
Rates of pay £18.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £20.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
