Summary

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £35,500

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8-5)

Are you a time-served Maintenance Electrician with commercial experience? Are you looking for an FM company which offers career development and upskilling opportunities?

My client, one of the largest facilities management organisations in the UK, is seeking a qualified Electrician who has experience working within commercial environments, carrying out all areas of planned and reactive maintenance within existing Facilities Management contracts. This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis on sites around the East Midlands area.

Main duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned electrical maintenance in line with its scheduled date, following health and safety policies.
  • Ensuring all faults and defects are remedied to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure all logs are kept up to date at all times.
  • Carrying out reactive tasks and being proactive in highlighting areas of improvement.
  • Carrying out additional FM duties in line with capabilities when appropriate.
  • Contribute to the overall team and company objectives.
  • Ensure the work area is left safe on completion of the job.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • 18th edition qualified
  • City & Guilds or NVQ
  • Full clean, UK driving licence
  • Experience working within all aspects of electrical installation work.
  • Ability to record work accurately on work sheets on computer-based systems
  • To be able to join a call out rota
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service
