Summary
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Capital team at the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
The project manager will support delivery of capital projects across the healthcare estates ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget and meeting client expectations. Working in the Technical and Capital directorate the project manager will ensure that good stakeholder engagement and governance is in place for all projects with safe delivery being at the forefront of all work.
• To lead and co-ordinate the project work programme and provide project management support/leadership to ensure all agreed objectives are met in accordance with the Trust’s strategic plan.
• To work in line with 2gether and EKHUFT policies and procedures.
• To work with the operational lead/sponsor to ensure technical solutions meet the operational requirements of the service, whilst conforming to all HTMs and any other related statutory requirements.
• Set up and manage the User Group and report to them on a frequent basis and take instructions accordingly
• Manage external consultants (architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, mechanical and electrical engineers) engaged on projects and to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Responsible for ensuring that building/engineering design conform to current statutory legislation and guidance.
