The University of Edinburgh Medical School is seeking a Director of Undergraduate Medical Admissions responsible for overseeing the effective planning and organising of activities related to the recruitment and admissions processes for Edinburgh undergraduate medical programmes
The Opportunity:
The Director of Undergraduate Medical Admissions will be a senior clinician, with local insight into the recruitment of medical school applicants and selectors. They will possess excellent communication skills and work well within a team. There will be a commitment to leading, developing, and engaging in outreach activities, particularly with Scottish schools and collaborating with the five Scottish medical schools to undertake outreach across the country.

Currently working as an NHS doctor.
Demonstrable local insight into the recruitment of medical school applicants and selectors, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the challenges involved.
A demonstrable commitment to leading, developing, and engaging in outreach activities, specifically targeting Scottish schools and collaborating with the five Scottish medical schools.
Exceptional communication skills, crucial for effective engagement with key stakeholders.
