Summary
Are you a Psychologist seeking a new Hybrid LOCUM challenge? Do you have previous experience working with children with Learning difficulties?
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist for a LOCUM contract supporting Herefordshire And Worcestershire Health And Care NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide psychological support as part of the CAMHS mental health & Learning Disabilities Team. The contract will run for an initial period of 3 months with the likelihood of extension.
Job Purpose: Band 8a Clinical Psychologist
Pay Rate: £35.00 LTD p/h + £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus
Location: Hereford / Hybrid
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Contract: 15 - 22.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions to children and adolescents at Herefordshire CAMHS, with a focus on those with learning disabilities.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and support, liaising with relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills in child and adolescent mental health.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate management strategies to ensure client safety.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to colleagues as required.
- Contribute to service development and evaluation initiatives aimed at improving CAMHS provision.
- Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing timely psychological support and intervention.

- HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist
- CAMHS experience
- Learning disabilities experience
