Summary
Depot Manager:
Are you passionate about leading in environmental waste management and industrial services?
Our client is seeking to employ a Depot Manager, overseeing a crucial hub of operations in Droitwich. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader to manage the depot, specialising in industrial services, cleaning, and emergency response within the environmental waste sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee depot operations, coordinating industrial services, emergency response, and cleaning activities.
• Ensuring that all operational standards and procedures within the depot are carried out effectively.
• Lead a team of 25 staff members, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to high-quality standards.
• Oversee various work orders and ensure the service is up to standard.
• Agreeing service contracts and dealing with suppliers
• Demonstrate proficiency in commercial management
• Essential understanding of RAMS documentation, maintaining compliance and safety protocols.
• Meeting with area and regional managers to share best practice
Experience & Qualifications:
• Experience of industrial cleaning services essential.
• IOSH or NEBOSH ideally
• WAMITAB (ideal but not essential)
• Commercial management related qualification
• SMSTS Card
• Proven experience in a managerial role within environmental waste management or related industries.
• Proficiency in depot management, ideally within water and energy sectors.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate teams.
