Summary

Are you looking for a role where you can play an active part in helping children achieve their best possible outcome? As a tutor that works with secondary students you will have a good understanding on supporting them and what is required for them to acheive.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team to facilitate and provide individualised learning for students. If this sounds like you, then please get in touch so we can support you in getting out to students and start making a positive impact on their learning.

Responsibilities:
- To provide 1-1 or small group tutoring sessions that are tailored to the individual or the group.
- Able to recognise where students are struggling and adjust the lesson plan to suit their needs, but also being able to see where their strengths are and develop the work when appropriate.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and other school professionals to effectively monitor progress and adjust lessons where appropriate.
- Apply evidence-based strategies to support student progress and emotional wellbeing.

Must have:
- Qualified Teacher status must be held (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous six months experience of working with secondary students.
- Experience in supporting students in building positive and mental wellbeing.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and build positive and effective rapport with students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in having a positive impact on students' lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
