Position: Learning Support Assistant -- Location: Hastings, East Sussex -- ⏰ Type: Full-time -- Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with learning difficulties.

✅ Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).

✅ Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

✅ Encouraging student engagement and participation in class activities.

✅ Monitoring and tracking student progress.

✅ Offering emotional support and building rapport with students.

✅ Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success.



Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess:

A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A willingness to learn and adapt to different learning styles. Patience, empathy, and the ability to listen actively. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners. ‍ Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
