At DB Schenker, we are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team in Heston, Hounslow. Location: Heston, UK Shifts: 4 on / 4off - 7:00 to 19:00 What Will You Be Doing? As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurate Documentation: Matching all loaded or unloaded goods with the relevant paperwork to maintain precise records.
- Efficient Distribution: Distributing unloaded goods across multiple warehouses to optimize storage and accessibility.
- Reporting and Communication: Reporting any damaged or missing goods to the Operations Manager or Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
- Packing Support: Assisting warehouse staff with various packing activities, such as creating boxes and building crates.
- Aviation Security Compliance: Adhering to aviation security requirements, including carrying out collecting agent ID checks and transferring collected goods to agents.
About You: To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience working in aircraft stores or a similar warehouse environment.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
