You will be part of a team of SLTs working across this pathway and will provide leadership and a highly specialist service delivery, including videofluoroscopy assessments.

There will be peer support from the acute SLT team at RDH and community team in DCHS.

This is a great opportunity to be able to utilise and develop highly-specialist skills and to influence the pathway improving the outcomes for babies, children and their families.

What do our SLTs say about working in this team?
• "I love the varied caseload, support from colleagues, team working , strong leadership in the service, and good relationships with educational settings"
• " The service has great flexible working opportunities"
• " There is lots of support available from specialists, approachable team members and good internal/external training opportunities"
• "I find the enormous range of variety in clinical experiences as a children's acute SLT exciting and challenging. It's a lively setting and no 2 days are ever the same!
• For me, there is a huge sense of fulfilment in working in a team with MDT colleagues, to provide the best possible care to children and their families during a difficult time in their lives."

This role will be split 3 days at Royal Derby Hospital and 2 days in the community, however there will be a flexible approach to cover the pathway as needed.

The role will operate as a highly specialist clinical SLT across the neonatal unit and children's hospital at The Royal Derby Hospital . The role will also provide highly specialist clinical input to children and babies with dysphagia in the community.

The role will provide leadership, service delivery co-ordination and influence service developments for children and neonates.
