Job: Warehouse Operative

We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Stroud.
You’ll be responsible for the day to day activities of the warehouse, keeping accurate records on our computer system and stock taking. A Forklift License is a must as you’ll be unloading vehicles and moving a wide range of palleted products through the factory. Any experience of stock systems would be an advantage as would a driving license. We need you to be self-motivated, able to work on your own and confident enough to make operational decisions when needed. You will be liaising with delivery/collection companies coming to site, multi-tasking and prioritising your work with the other departments to achieve the daily targets by making sure they have all the raw materials needed for the days production. This involves both manual work and being computer literate.

You’ll need to be able to work both as part of a team and without direct supervision, following good warehouse practices at all times. Communication is important, as is a willingness to learn.
Shift Pattern:-
Earlies - Monday to Thursday 05.30 – 14.00 and Friday 05.30 – 13.00
Lates – Monday to Thursday 13.45 – 22.15 and Friday 12.45 – 20.15
You will rotate on a weekly basis. With the 10% shift allowance the salary is £24,827.00pa
Rewards:
• Free Parking
• We can offer you a company pension scheme,
• Enhanced sick pay
• Company bonus if targets are hit.
• There is both an onsite and a companywide reward scheme, with the candidates being nominated by the workforce not management.
• We shut down between Christmas and New Year, the bank holidays are yours and what’s more, you’ll have the chance to purchase extra.
• We’ll give you a Birthday Day off!
• Groupwide, we can offer an enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave.
• Life Assurance
• career development if that’s your thing.
• For general wellbeing, we have a year-round calendar of health and wellbeing events,
• 24/7 Employee assistance programme for all employees
• Perks Scheme with discounts and savings.
• We also fund raise for a charity nominated by the employees (burger days and cakes are always a winner!) and you’ll have the chance to help out for a day – paid of course!
