Job: Surface Mount Technician/Operator

We are looking to recruit a Surface Mount Technician Operator to join our client based in Stonehouse. For the right candidate this is a brilliant opportunity. Please only apply for this vacancy if you have the below experience and can reliably commute to Stonehouse.

Responsibilities:
1.Support Surface Mount (SMT) assembly line/equipment including programming, maintenance, equipment/software trouble shooting, and debug of new and existing production assembly programs.
2.Ensure that new products flow smoothly through the SMT equipment following appropriate procedures.
3.Collect, compile, analyse, develop, and report data and information regarding SMT operations/issues and process capability.
4.Perform failure analysis and/or root cause analysis of defects and/or field returns.
5.Perform inspection, corrective and preventive actions, and other quality assurance related assignments to ensure that the SMT line is producing a high-quality product.
6.Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
7.Monitor the machine condition to run smoothly and avoid unnecessary breakdown.
8.Liaise with Process Engineering to ensure optimal production efficiency.

Requirements:
1.At least 3 years’ experience of continuous running of SMT equipment.
